While League City is not normally known as a tourist destination

area located just a little northeast of League City.
Directly on the Gulf of Mexico is Galveston Island, with numerous gulf beaches. There are nature centers, recreation areas, race tracks and wild life parks all within a short drive from League City. Certainly, one of the standout attractions is the Houston Space Center and NASA which is home to one of our nation’s greatest accomplishments.
